Ricardo Gutierrez Garcia, trading as Vantably, operates Vantably and is the data controller for the personal data described here. That means we decide how and why it is used.

What we collect and why

• Account details (email, display name, login details, or your Google account basics if you sign in with Google) — to create and secure your account. Legal basis: contract.
• Learning content (topics you enter, your answers and explanations, saved lessons, review schedule, streak) — to provide lessons, feedback, and sync across devices. Legal basis: contract.
• Usage and device data (pages visited, device type, approximate country, IP address) — to keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve it. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Messages you send us — to answer support questions. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
• Subscription status (plan, renewal date) — to give you the features you paid for. Legal basis: contract.

Card and payment details are collected directly by Paddle, not by us.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that host the app and database, run AI models to generate lessons and feedback, send account emails, and provide analytics.
• Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for selling the product, managing subscriptions, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
• Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants, when needed.
• Authorities, only where the law requires it.

We don’t sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside your country; where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and learning data while your account is open. When you delete your account, or it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it, except where we must keep records by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your data, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Contact us through vantably.app and we’ll respond within one month.

Security

We use encryption in transit, access controls so each person can only see their own learning data, and trusted infrastructure providers.

Cookies

We use essential storage to keep you signed in and remember your progress on your device, and privacy-friendly analytics to understand visits. You can clear these through your browser settings.
